This is Tiffany. I met Tiffany at the Fire Escape in Citrus Heights tonight. Local bands (String Theory, The Happy Medium, and The Common Men) and Pabst in the can. Tiffany is an actress, seeming to specialize in the macabre. Her latest role, also her first starring role, is that of a woman who has a condition that causes her to kill when she becomes sexually aroused. It’s called “Love Blade” and you can find it on Amazon. Tiffany likes Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bowie, Tom Waits, Peter Murphy, Roxy Music, and a bunch of other cool bands. She reads anything non-fiction concerning anthropology, theology, culture, and Mark Danielewski’s “House of Leaves”. Her favorite movie, and the one that inspired her to become an actress, is Stephen King’s “Stand By Me”. She is a Sac native, but has lived in the U.K. as well. Tiffany is 26.

Favorite Accomplishments: Birth. My first starring role in a feature film (“Love Blade”), that debuted at The Crest. Surviving as an immigrant to a foreign land, though there wasn’t much of a problem with the language barrier.

Regrets: The ham and cheese pit on the way into Heathrow. Nearing 30 and still not knowing what the fuck i’m doing on this planet.

What are your passions/obsessions? Art. Kittens. Androgyny. Love and beauty. Chain smoking while driving. Being a smartass. Performing for anyone, anyhwere, even unsuspecting strangers in the street. Antique Roadshow.

What has been your most memorable moment as an actress? Having to lay still, in a pool of fake blood, for an hour for continuity, while the next shot was being set up. Oh, and I was completely naked.

Favorite memories of the U.K.? Moving with no money and learning to live off of chip butties, posh noodles, and the occasional Jaffa Cake.

Sound Off! My biggest fear is being forgotten. Is there any meaning to life if no one remembers? Nothingness terrifies me. I crave something, just one something. That is all I need. “Til love and fame to nothingness do sink.” – Keats

Thanks Tiffany. Got your acceptance speech ready?
